California Earthquake tracking site (did you feel it on Sat?)

Posted by Jordan Erickson

This past Saturday, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Santa Rosa area. I was able to feel it, were you?

I’d like to share a great website that’s been in my bookmarks list for tracking earthquakes in California (all of the world, actually). The data collected seems to be updated by the minute as I’ve visited this site in the past, just moments after a quake hit that I’ve been able to feel. You can click on the maps on the main page to “drill down” to any specific location to track recent earthquakes and all of the data collected – seismograph data, exact time/location, and tons of other cool info.
