Before moving my family to Bellingham 4 years ago I ran a freelance tech consulting + support business for 20 years. I mostly took care of Microsoft Windows based networks on a contractual basis. Hundreds of different clients and thousands of support tickets. Many of my clients stuck with me for the duration of my company's existence.

I'm focusing my new company here in Bham on what I found was most successful through my career, which is providing expert consulting, engineering and support methodologies. This may involve Linux and other open-source solutions, which may just be what you've always needed.

As a sidenote, it's really cool to meet other Linux users new and old around the area. I've love going to local LUG (Linux Users Group) meetings and always have a great time at the annual LFNW (Linux Fest NorthWest) here in town.
